Just in case I wasn't partisan enough in my prior post (warily! warily! I say to you):
According to the New York Times, Senator McCain announced that "the federal government should play a limited role in public education."
If not a government (for the people, by the people) who then shall regulate the public school system? Will the government (that faceless entity) whittle away its hours with the private school system?
“Education is obviously not the issue Senator McCain spends the most time on,” said Lisa Graham Keegan, a former Arizona education commissioner and McCain adviser. Oops--not anymore.
